Giant Staff Member of the Month

Our Giant Staff Member of the Month for September 2023 is Gordon Blue. Gordon has been a steadfast pillar at Robert E. Lee High School for over three and a half decades, demonstrating unwavering commitment and passion for education.

Gordon is a mentor in the truest sense of the word. He has supported and encouraged generations of students and many educators in the district today. Beyond his role as a math teacher, Gordon has taken on various responsibilities within the school community over the years, including coaching, serving as the department head, and sponsoring clubs. In 2004, Mr. Blue was named the Goose Creek CISD Secondary Teacher of the Year.

The effects of Gordon Blue’s impact as a teacher, mentor, and friend will continue to shape the lives of students and educators for generations to come.
